Time really really flies isnt it, it's finally our last year in phs, which means we met one another three years ago. All the friends that we've made, same became good friends, some became pretty close friends and some became the sisters/brothers you know you'll keep for life. But anyway, this year is a crucial year for all of us. No matter what let's all give our best, we can do it :) Just remember, dont ever give up!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee. I just randomly came cos it's too bored to be true now that Swine Flu is spreading and we're experiencing serious global warming. The Sun's being naughty. >:(

Just few days back i saw Mr Ng at the canteen and he was like doing his susual flirting with the sec ones and then I suddenly miss sec one times when we were all geeky yet behaves as if we own the world. And I went over and said "Hello I'm Mr ng's fav student." And he look at his students and said "She used to be. Till her fringe starts to drop down..."
WTHECK AND THEN I SUDDENLY DON'T MISS SEC ONE LIFE ANYMORE.
Not to forget.. I seriously miss all of th One e peeps though. :( (Who cares about Mr ng and his theories? LOL!) It has been forever since we last gather and have fun.

Yeah.. so. What to say?
How have you guys been recently, since the start of the year? We've been seperated even more this year- new subjects, new classes, new everything. Right I know we don't even greet each other in school now, although we all know who we are. (Sounds weird? Hahaha.) But I hope you guys are adapting well and.. surviving, at least. Haha.

Yeah.. I miss 1endurance, though I don't really remember how it feels like when we were together already. but it's a pleasant feeling. I don't know about you guys, but to me our class was the one I enjoyed being in the most. Yeah. Haha.

So.. school's tough. But tests are temporarily OVER! So relax for a little. :)
Let's endure through this year and the next together! and yeah, I believe we can. pull through no matter what. Heh.

1. For those who're staying over, pls rmb to bring your own things, such as clothes and towel, soap. So that you can bathe there. & PLEASE inform us if you haven whether you're staying or not.

2.* Bring extra money and clothes, for going to escape. It's always safer. And for th chalet entrance fee. It's $1.

3. For those who don't knw how to get there, contact me or xt in any ways, then we'll tell you th directions.

4. My mum's helping us check in at 2.30pm, around there. So you knw what time to reach there.

I knw that there're Ndp practices on th 17th and 18th, and this sat's is cancelled.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT: We seriously can't do anything to change it, cause th chalet's alr booked, and paid fer. Get it? I'm sorry to say.. But there'll be strictly NO refund, how'd you expect us to give th money we alr used to you?

So we've decided that, we can *excuse* ourselves from ndp on th 17th, and stay overnight, dhen go on th 18th. We'll wake up earlier and check out to make it in time.
For those who don't wanna do that, you guys can go for ndp first, from 11am-6pm, dhen come for th bbq after that. But, by then, all the theme parks, blah blah will be closed. So please consider it properly okay..
Travelling so far jus to have bbq.. &Considering that class chalet is once in a year, and ndp.. -.-

Nobody knew and wanted this to happen. So please, kindly cooperate and be understanding. We're trying our best too.

The chalet has been booked! :D :D :D

I've called my aunt to help us book online, cause she has the NTUC card so we'll pay lesser. The total cost was $158, the rest of the money will be used on food.
Once again, details:
Date: 17june, tuesday - 18june, wed. (those who wanna stay over, you can. ^^)
Time: 2.30pm check-in (17th), 10.30am (18th) check out.
Venue: Downtown East, Pasir Ris. (The room no. will be sent to us 2 days before. So I'll post it when I get it.)

Heres it. I've requested for the ground floor one, so I think it'll be okay.
For the bbq pit, my aunt says we can book it when we're there. $8 for members, I think. Anw, can you guys please comfirm w me whether you're staying?
I jus wanna knw the number approximately. Thankyou!
As for the check-in, we'll need an 18-year-old and above person, my mum will do the job. ^^

I've jus checked the rooms and dates available for chalet booking.
since there're 20+ of you going, the estimated cost for each is $15, inclusive of barbeque.
for the date, is 16JUNE okay for you guys?
2 days 1 night.
cause our sch's concert is on 10 june, we'll be busy w practices and stuffs.

I've asked my mum to help us book chalet during the june holiday, if you all want.
cause i heard that mr ng is inviting us to his bbq (together with this year's 1C during june also.
but if you all still wan another ONE ENDURANCE`o7 class outing, my mum can help us book a chalet.
Venue: Pasiris DownTownEast.
Date: you guys can suggest which dates ya'll want. most probably after 10 june, after phs's concert. Most ppl will be free.
( It'll be two days one night. )
Cost: APPROXIMATELY**.
15 ppl --- > $20 per person
20 ppl --- > $15 per person
the cost is inclusive of food. most probably dinner, bbq.
*please note that: if you think it's too expensive compared to last year's, its because this is booked mainly for our class outing. so we all have to do our part, yeah?

Here's the few plans we have for the End-of-year class outing.

I know some of you cannot be bothered to care about or attend this outing.

Apparently, you don't see that this is the last time we gather as a class.

As I was saying, before I started to address some losers,

Here are our plans so far.

Plan A

Venue: Sentosa; the beach (any beach)

Time: Meet at Harbour Front MRT at 10:30am; end latest at 4:30pm.

Date: Yet to be decided.

Activities:

-Any play thing you wanna play with at Sentosa, e.g; Luge, Skyride etc.

-Swimming in the sea. Yes, the sea. No crocodiles, relax. And we're wearing our CLOTHES in. If you're going to wear your swimsuit in, people are going to point at you a laugh.

-Guys can bring their soccer ball to play on the beach.

Checklist: Extra clothes and underwear, Toiletries, Towels, Water bottle, about $25, any other play thing, titbits, Sunblock.

About the Venue: The entry fee for Sentosa is $3.

About the Time: We don't want it to end as late as the previous class outing, so better to make it end before nightfall. And It'll get really hot at about 11am, so better to meet earlier.

We're going back to school tomorrow. Boooooo :( Weekends just pass so fast. Oh man... If y'all are slacking because there's no homework this weekends, you're going down the wrong route. First week of Term 4. It's a new term. It's supposed to be 'fresh'. LOL, but unfortunately, most of us aren't starting that fresh. Normally, on this particular day of the week, at this time of day, I'd be sulking. Why? - There's school tomorrow! But today... Well, yes, it's a lazy and utterly boring afternoon, but... Can you? LOL

All the best for oral. Here are some tips from the GREAT AMADEA (helloooo, I'm being modest here.) :

1) Read aloud, please. If I were a teacher, and the 'victim' makes me have to lean forward to hear him/her, why, I'd really wish that I could give him/her two tight slaps. Well, perhaps three might be better... Left, right, and center :)

2) Describe the picture with the widest range of vocabulary possible. Make the examiner go, Oh wow, this person can really describe, man. Do NOT say one sentence, and then sit still and stare at the examiner like a blur animal.

3) Talk more during the conversation. You are supposed to com-mu-ni-cate with the examiner. That's why it's called a con-ver-sa-tion. Get the picture? You are not Felicia Chin or Fann Wong, nobody is conducting a question-and-answer interview with you. It is a (say this with me) con-ver-sa-tion. Exactly.

Hey! Hope you're enjoying your weekend! Or at least, I hope you're studying!! I have sent an email to you people, regarding the common test. So check your inbox! :D

The timetable of the common test was posted on 10 Aug 2007. So please check. Look at the time of the test, so at that time, there will be no lessons. So be smart to not bring books for those lessons that will not take place. (Is it very hard to understand my sentence? Sorry hehe.) ;]

Ok, so yesterday was National Day. =P *nice flag* LOL. Well, Mr Ng already gave out the fact sheets on 8 Aug. Make use of them wisely, people! :)

Here is the common test timetable, in case some of you don't have it.

HEY Y'ALL :D
this is, once again, Amadea.

Woah, so the carnival yesterday, huh? Firstly, the parade was just simply retarded =x We had to sit under the hot, scorching sun for about an hour. Thank goodness none of us were part of the parade. As you all can see, many people starting falling. Then, Anand and Randeep, our 1Endurance "abassadors" went to help the poor people that were squatting down :) How nice of them. Heehee.

Well, so during the carnival itself, we could see so many stalls. Mrs Lau and other teachers had a stall selling hand-made earrings. Sweet! But I didn't get to really walk around and play... I was tending my CCA stall. Booo :( Haha. Oh well. Diane and (girl) gang went to the concert. I was wondering if it was really that good. Because when Mr Ng was taking attendance after the carnival, they were still at the concert! But Haoboon said the concert was terrible. Microphones were spoilt, the superstars couldn't project their voice. Blah blah blah...

But, at least we should have a bit of fun. Right? :D I had fun tending my stall. What about you? Comments on the tag board! :)

Carnival tomorrow. Have you sold your tickets?
Report in a red shirt tomorrow, and school skirt/shorts. No PE shorts, please. Report before 3:30pm tomorrow. So, anyway. Today's Science lesson was just crazy and messy. Who knew that it would result in 45 minutes under the scorching Sun?

(oh well, 1E is one big family. Let's not hold grudges towards each other.)

Geography test today!! Well, I would say, if you studied, it's chicken feet for you. If you didn't, prepare to fail. (Ahem, not saying that you will fail. But you certainly won't do as well as those that studied.)

It's quite little homework for such a long holiday, don't you think? Haha. Just 3 maths sums. This rocks, yea. :)

Oh man, Geog test was postponed again. Darn it! :( Actually it's sort of a good thing, because most of the class people didn't study, right? ADMIT IT!! Muahahahahha.

Yeah, so anyway, please study for the Geog test. Be reminded that we have to now study Chapter 5 too. Also, note that we have to pass up art to Xuting (for girls) and Samuel (for boys) on Monday. Got it? :) Don't pass up, later Boey explode. Lol. Ok, just joking. Just remember to do it. And must colour the pictures that you drew also. :D

Home Econs students, remember to work on the cookbook project, ok? Miss Lim is very particular about late work etc. Also remember that next Wednesday is the home econs commong test already. Study chapter 4, 5, and 10. I'm not sure about d&t... up to Xuting, Yiyuan and Diane to post =P Haha. But, a word of advice for d&t students, DON'T LET THE SAW DUST INTO YOUR PRECIOUS EYES!! Hehehehe.

Chinese pupils, please do pg 59 of your 1B textbook!! :) And remember to to Science task 2: Find the materials available on a ship and list down the suitable materials for making the container. And Science task 3: Find the length and weight of the Tuna Fish.

Okay, sorry for being insensitive and reminding you all that we have so much homework and projects. But, well, it's just the cold hard truth you have to accept. :)

Let's study!! Lol.
But I heard from 1Faith that the Literature test is super duper easy, so... relax, people! But that doesn't mean we shouldn't study, okay!

The maths test isn't like the graded assignment we had today. On 27 July, we can't refer to our textbooks. So, you guys better buck up! Chapter 9 and 10 ain't difficult topics... c'mon! Don't let madam down!! :D Jiayou, 1E!

Science test... hmm... I believe most of us can admit that we are not listening sometimes in science class. I can be the first person to own up, *Raises hands* :D . So, let's read our textbooks and do our assessment books. Three chapters, people! That is a lot! And we have 7 days to study, so no excuses, okay!

Well, well, well. First few weeks gone by, we're now in the middle of Term 3. We've set our goals during a CF period some time ago. Gotta strive hard, Endurancers! We're gonna prove, prove, prove to the rest of the Sec ones that 1 Endurance can win them all :D

Firstly, let us set some targets.

Behaviour -
1) DO NOT get into any serious trouble in or out of school.
2) DO NOT fail to hand up homework on time.
3) DO NOT fail to do our homework.
4) DO NOT wear out uniform in the wrong way to avoid getting detention (that leaves a stain on the class records.) That means...
-No ankle socks
-No tucking out of shirt
-Have school badge and name tag on at ALL times
-Girls, pin up your fringes.
5) DO NOT be late for school.

Academic -
1) Always work hard.
2) Get at least an A1/A2 for this round's cmmon test.
3) DO NOT neglect your homework.

Let us try our best to keep to these.
Together, we can be the best Sec 1 Express of 2007! :D

GOOD STUFF
1) The chalet rocked big time!
